yes but that doesn't deny the fact that 'disk' is the wrong
place for a scsi adapter.
There is absolutly no (i.e. none, zilch (etc)) 
disk specific code in a scsi adapter driver.

the 'raid' adapters on the other hand often export 
'disk' ABI top-ends..

I'd put them under disk

how about "storage"
