X Chapter of handbook

Hello,

I have successfully install Dragonfly on my computer,
So I decide to update the documentation a bit.
I start with the X window system chapter.
But I have some doubt about some parts :

-Configuring X : is hald and dbus in rc.conf still necessary?
-XDM : I don't use it so I'm totally lost here.
-Gnome : What is the state of Gnome in Dragonfly? Version 2 or 3?

I have already update all commands for dports.

I hope is fine with you, and help some users.
