is this newsgroup alive?
as all discussion regarding documentation happens on -kernel, i am curious,
whether i should still watch -docs...
well, to fill this test with some content, there is an easy-to-use emacs
mode, that supports docbook xml [1] ([2] gives an introduction).
so half of all developers (those not using vi ;) can stay calm regarding
xml-verboseness from now on  :P

btw: i use vim, so i will keep on moaning about docbook xml verboseness, if
i not knew, that docbook xml is way faster
