    kernel - Adjust vkernel build for builtin changes
    
    * Adjust the vkernel build to be compatible with the
      macros changes for bcopy, etc.
    
    * It appears that since e.g. 'bcopy' is a PLT symbol in libc,
      that I cannot simply create a weak '_bcopy' symbol that
      points to it.  So this solution is a bit of a hack.
