If the regexp is 'issue ?\d+', then you need a space between the word

'Fixes' may not be the best phrase, as the issue may not be fixed by the
commit, or it may not be a bug; rather a feature add or upgrade.  How
about 'tracking ID:'?
Actually, how about this?

It doesn't make a complete sentence, but neither would any other
suggestion.  This has the advantage that someone who stumbles into a
commit message that isn't generally familiar with DragonFly will probably
be able to figure out the place to go for details.
