buildkernel stops in dev/netif/nv while buildkernel target is building
modules.  Going to /sys/dev/netif/nv and building that particular module
seem to complete, but the *.patch files aren't used as they supposed to be.
thanks for pointing this out.  what a pitty that files are sprewed all 
over the tree...
