could you give us a "date=" for our cvsup files that corresponds "to the
latest HEAD" because I'm unable to apply your patch cleanly to my latest
HEAD (see

it looks like your checkout doesn't include matt's latest changes.  be 
sure to use a mirror which updates more than once a day or wait until 
the mirror has synced completely.
