I'm not comfortable with that. I've used at least the PSD docs for make 
several times, but that's arguably no install time doc.

I'd like to see the generated docs to be committed and as well 
installed. This way we can loose groff as build tool, have the docs 
still available, and only waste a little space in the repo. And don't 
tell me that's hard to administrate: the docs change almost never, so 
the additional step to generate new pages and to commit those is 
neglibile, in case these docs get ever updated.
