The ports uname hack is hardly about -DEV.
And even on -DEV i would ask to fix stuff first then turn it on.
I also doubt the errno problem would be related to -DEV only
since we wait for: you fixing and submitting, them including and
releasing and ports/pkgsrc updating.
And sadly since my wchar patch had been broken shortly before 1.2 release
and citrus came in after the release i can't use it. And even with citrus
there is no wchar support in statically linked binaries.
So now i have a so called *correct* solution instead of a working one.
And i am still missing the benchmarks or other proofs that citrus is better.
Personally i don't have problems having big changes in my tree
and i usually have. This thread is one of the reasons i often
keep changes to my self.
