IMHO Any historical person can't be just ignored. Does not matter was
they tyrants like Lenin/Stalin/Hitler or real peace makers like Ioann
Pavel II/<you-name-the-others>.

Joerg, our grandpa's could been eventualy shoot each other 60 years
ago, but for me that was more Stalin-Hitler war than Soviet-German
one. Almost the same could apply to other  non X-Soviet residents
(with Stalin replaced by their local leader).

My position: we should leave the cookies, but probably not include it
to the set by default.
