I'd like to say something about this, as we had a similar problem for
the FreeSBIE CVS repository. At the beginning we had a script which
generated an email for each modification in a directory, so you got lots
of them. Almost 9 months ago, we switched to using Activitymail, which
is a simple script that does all you can need from a repo-mail
generator. It's easy to configure, and you can find it in the ports
tree. It really changed our lives. :)
