    Yah, though mine finally did go through after I faxed them a
    letter describing the used nature of the hardware and the
    open-source project (along with URL) that it was related to.

    I expect that now that people know what to expect we can
    get stuff pushed through by formulating a cover letter
    and warning the target that they may have to provide 
    additional documentation or have us FAX customs.
