:the removal of libexec/aout is bogus. The directory is used by binutils.
:Will you either re-add it or change the path for ar, as, ld ,nm, ranlib,
:size, strings and strip?

    It was supposed to be moved into libexec/gcc2/aout but it looks like
    there's some breakage and it's not being built properly.  Not
    unexpected, I'll work on it.
