Issue #2981 has been updated by liweitianux.
Status changed from New to Resolved
I've tested dd(1) on DragonFly BSD v5.5 and don't have this issue.
The dd(1) was updated against FreeBSD some time ago and should work fine. So I'm closing this old bug. Thanks.
