I haven't tried such a setup (DFly + X11 in VirtualBox), so I'm sorry that I cannot give the exact answer.

I suggest that you try the moused(8) (https://www.dragonflybsd.org/cgi/web-man?command=moused&section=8) program.

By the way, it's more appropriate to ask us such questions on the IRC.

Sorry, I was trying to look for a DragonflyBSD forum to join, but I didn't see one.  So I signed up for this instead.  I just installed DragonflyBSD on a VirtualBox guest.  Installed xfce as the desktop.  Once I got everything ready, it booted up fine, but when I logged on, my mouse would not work.  Is this a known issue?  Please advise.  Thanks.
