Bug #2306: a crash starts the kernel debugger in text mode, but just reboots in X
http://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/2306
Author: Pierre Abbat
Status: New
Priority: Normal
Assignee:
Category:
Target version:
To replicate:
1. Put bug 2298 back in and reboot the buggy kernel.
2. Mount linprocfs. You need the linux module loaded, of course.
3. Type "mount" or let it run its nightly periodic to trigger the bug.
If you're at the text console when it triggers, you get a debugger prompt and can type "call dumpsys" to get a dump. If you're in X, the computer just reboots and gives no dump.
