[Issue 1365] NFS permission problem

    Ok, I reproduced it.  it looks like I broke the uid mapping for NFS.
    If the export has -maproot=root: then it works fine.  If the export
    does not have -maproot=root: then it isn't happy even when you are
    trying to access non-root-owned files.

    I'm tracking it down.
