ahci: attachment to atapi device

:It works fine for me now, and seems to take the load much better than the

:I'm running 4 different find / and a cvs update of pkgsrc in parallel and
:there's no hang or perceptible slow-down on disk accesses. New applications
:seem to launch as fast as if nothing was accessing the disks.

    Excellent!

    Did you have to use the emergency interrupt polling or ahci/non-ahci
    combination?  Or does the interrupt work for real?

    I also fixed some console spew this morning (that Sephe reported),
    just in case your attachment is NCQ-capable.
