latest -HEAD panics when switching from X to text console

:assertion: pmap->pm_stats.resident_count > 0 in pmap_remove_pte (it is

    This is due to the assertions I added.  That is, the assertions found
    another bug in the pmap code.  I'll try to track it down today.
