bug in random(4) man page:
4th paragraph:
This implementation uses A ....
should be:
This implementation uses a .....
Also, 6th paragrpah:
... which is not considered to be as secure ....
I'm not sure what information was used to make that
statement; L15 is
secure. I analysed the security of it myself and so
far nobody has
broken it.
The only big difference between L15 and IBAA that I
know of might be
that L15 produces sequences with small gaps (just like
ARC4), whereas
IBAA probably doesn't do that; it probably produces a
higher quality
pseudo-random sequence.
