A week or so ago when something tried to build it as a dependency I
seem to recall this is the error I received.

I did major surgery, removed a ton of conditionals trying to narrow it
down,
force-defined other stuff - still had contradictory errors that
'shouldn't be'.
Trying to fault-isolate, primarily. (I don't code in C, just fix it ...)
Gave it up as a bad job, as:
A) The config.in file alone is outsized enough to generate heartburn
"That's not right. It's not even WRONG!" as Feineman put it..
B) ifdefs for (any) *BSD target were conspicuous by their absence -
mostly legacy 'big iron'.
C) By policy we don't use snmp(variants) *here* anyway...
(Seems each new release turns up on Secunia sooner or later...)
But I do remain concerned about the related autoconf{latest...} problem
. .. that one is too widely leaned on to long ignore....
Has anyone run into that?
