Firefox hangs in state 'kqread'

:I've been seeing some..weird hangs in firefox, seems to be kind of 
:random, and when it does hang, it usually recovers on its own. The time 
:it takes to recover varies greatly though, anywhere from a few seconds, 
:to a few minutes. I haven't done much investigating (starting that now) 
:but according to top, when it hangs, its in the 'kqread' state. Anyone 
:know anything about this?

    If it recovers on its own then it probably isn't a bug in the kq
    code.  It kinda sounds like a DNS lookup issue.  Both mozilla and
    firefox have dns lookup issues if domain name being looked up has
    DNS problems.
