This might be a repeat, but I googled and only found fixes for the bug,
but no bug reports.
I installed samba3 from packages and "/usr/local/etc/rc.d/samba.sh
start" gave the following error:
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/samba.sh: WARNING: $XXX is not set properly - see
rc.conf(5).
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/samba.sh: WARNING: $XXX is not set properly - see
rc.conf(5).
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/samba.sh: WARNING: $XXX is not set properly - see
rc.conf(5).
The two fixes I found were changing "FreeBSD" to "DragonFly"
in /usr/local/etc/rc.subr, or chaging the first uncommented line
in /usr/local/etc/rc.d/samba.sh from ". /usr/local/etc/rc.subr" to
". /etc/rc.subr". That is, make the FreeBSD rc.subr work with DragonFly,
or use the DragonFly rc.subr.
