make upgrade overwrites /etc/mail/mailer.conf

:The "make upgrade" target in /usr/src overwrites /etc/mail/mailer.conf, 
:wich is a file admins modify if they run any other MTA than sendmail.

:Please, do not make the make upgrade target overwrite this file without 
:checking if it has been modified to work with another MTA.

    This needs a slightly smarter install for certain files... a kinda of
    'install if this does not already exist' target.  

    Would someone care to submit a patch to do it?
