Panic in loader

I just finished rebuilding and installing world and kernel and rebooted and
got this (typed by hand):

BTX loader 1.00 BTX version is 1.01
Console: internal video/keyboard
BIOS drive C: is disk0
DIOS 636kB/784768kB available memory
panic: stack overflow in function
--> Press any key on the console to reboot <--

What I have done is to install from an ISO form 2005-03-31, cvsup to latest
stable (sometime around 22.30 2005-04-04 GMT+1), make buildworld, make
buildkernel, make installkernel, make installworld, make upgrade and
rebooted.

My make.conf contains the following:
CPUTYPE=i686
CFLAGS= -O -pipe
CCVER?=gcc34

Worth to mention is that I also tried to get Joerg's ath-driver to work
(http://leaf.dragonflybsd.org/~joerg/ath.tar.gz) and thus has put the folder
ath in /usr/src/sys/dev/netif/ and applied the patch to
/usr/src/sys/netproto/802_11/. Then made

make obj && make depend && make && make install

 in /usr/src/sys/dev/netif/ath as per his instructions. This was done after
the cvsup and before any of the makebuildworld etc.

This is the second time this happens to me (the first time I thought it was
just me who made something wrong, and probably still is).
