No, I am using CVS from yesterday.  I read the discussion in the archives, but
my problem is different: it works, but eats up 98% of idle CPU, the system
doesn't feel unresponsive when I do something, it just eats CPU when it is
idle.  I also get hundreds of SILO OVERFLOWS, one every 2 minutes, specially
when I switch between ttys.  My modem is an external DLINK connected to the
serial port.  I am willing to experiment if you tell me what to try.
