After installworld and kernel and reboot thing does not even boot.

 It is not enabled by default for gcc-2.95.x
    (on purpose).
    It looks like it is interfering with gcc-2.95.x-built /boot/loader code.
yes, If I reinstall content of /boot and issue disklabel -B -b -s things 
are OK.

Could this be gcc on Opteron issue? Never seen this issue on P3/P4.
