Yeah, I just reproduced it. It was something like this:

% mkdir test
% cd test
% emacs
Then go to a second vty and do:

% rm -r test
% mkdir test
If I exit emacs then on the first vty I get the error.

    Is this stable or HEAD ?  HEAD I'm guessing.
Yes, HEAD.
