Hmm. Could it be as simple as needing to flag the slice as being
bootable?

:I'd be interested in hearing the exact steps you took with the installer
:so that I can locate the problem and fix it. In particular, when you
:selected "Use Part of Disk" and selected a primary partition to install
:DragonFly on, did it show up as "sysid 165" (0xa5)? There's nothing in
:the code that I can see that would format a primary partition as
:"sysid 11" (0xb) like you describe, and there are no known issues with
:installing to disks other than the first disk.
