latest current iso boot failure

:This is on hardware described a week ago with a boot failure.

:The installation from an iso from 7-28 fails at:

    First, try hitting F1 instead of [enter].

    Second, try turning on packet mode, which you can do via the installer
    but you can also boot the CD, login as root, and turn it on like this:

    boot0cfg -o packet ad0
