Installer boot problems

There is actually a bug there, in fact, we just haven't had a chance to
track it down. The kernel on the ISO in fact checks acd0c, cd0c, acd1c,
and cd1c. We aren't sure why it isn't picking up the SCSI CDRom
automatically.
In anycase, it's on my list of things to track down.

:Nevermind, figured it out while reading a post on this group.
:Something about someone not being able to boot from cd when he put the cd in
:his second drive.. And somebody explaining that that was because the
:installer wasn't going to try to boot from acd1c..
:Then it hit me that BSD doesn't use the linux device naming (hda being the
:master drive on the primary controller, hdb being the second drive on the
:primary controller, etc).
:But rather names the devices as it probes them, so because there are 3
:devices on the Adaptec controller (ID2: Tape drive, ID3: HD, ID4: CDROM), I
:figured cd9660:cd0c had to work.
:Bingo, why didn't I think of that earlier, what a waste of space on the
:server.. Sorry about that folks.. ;)
:
:Goodnight..
