booting -> restart

:	Boot problems with GCC-3.4 compiled boot code is a known
:	problem.  Something is being too smart in the boot code.

:	Meanwhile, try using a GCC-2 based boot loader, and a GCC-3.4
:	kernel, it should work.

    Note: to recover from the bad boot blocks one can reboot with the
    live CD and reinstall just the bootblocks with boot0cfg and 
    disklabel -B
