Manual installation on 3ware 9500 sata controller wont boot

At the suggestion of installer people, this post describes
the manual installation process followed in an attempt to
install on a machine with a 3ware 9500-4 controller.

Boot freedos cd and use dos fdisk to remove partitions

Boot FreeBSD -current cd and create a 100000M partition

Boot DragonFly installation cd and logon as root

Do the following:

# boot0cfg -B da0
# boot0cfg -v da0
