Referring to the whole disk is done with 'c'.  (disk dev name)a is
usually /, b is usually swap, c is the whole thing, and d, e, f, and g are
whatever partitions are set up past that, usually
as /tmp, /var, /usr, /home.  

I may have it wrong, but that's OK, since I have a warm dislike for that
arbitrary naming scheme.
