keyboard loss in DF

:So without having looked deeper into it those two issues give me the 
:feeling that ddb has a general problem if no keyboard is connected.

:Also, box 1 seems to have a problem detecting its keyboard upon 'boot 
:-d'. If I drop into ddb later on it works.

    ddb will die without a keyboard.  That's a different issue.
