You mean something like the attached patch? The problem is the 
inclusion
order, that's I can't ignore the user's CFLAGS and only remove the most
dangerous options. Other important programs / libs which are very 
likely
to produce broken code with higher optimizer settings?
I think the idea is good, but in the long term almost everything here 
would
likely become an annoyance to everyone.
