Good question! Ravenports works pretty well from my own experience!<br>

For me, the only "complex" packages I still miss in Ravenports are:<br>

* chromium - firefox from ravenports works pretty well though<br>
<br>
* mplayer - mpv and vlc are probably good alternatives<br>
<br>
* obs-studio - not really useful unless we gain webcam support<br>
<br>
* texlive - I never managed to download texlive from ravenports. the<br>
download either stalled or I run into a 2 GiB error. I think the<br>
trick is to only install the texlive-texmf~primary package, which<br>
omits 2.6 GiB worth of docs!!!!<br>
<br>
So, if we had a working chromium port, and I manage to download texlive<br>
from raven, there would be no blocker from my side to completely switch<br>
over. Dports would still coexist of course, though I think it'd wise to<br>
rather spend our precious time and focus on Ravenports.<br>
