<div dir="ltr">The driver doesn't have an option to skip it.
There might be a BIOS option to turn off PM support (which just
clears a capability bit in the AHCI controller). Someone could
submit a patch to the driver sources to allow it to be disabled
with a loader.conf variable (TUNABLE mechanism). The probe
usually only takes a second or two though.
