Malayalam font

Hi,

There is one problem still.
If I download a PDF file with a malayalam file name the it appears in the
system as

 03 - ????????? ?????????????????????????????? ???????????????
?????????????????????????????? - ????????? ?????????????????????.pdf

How do I fix that?
Is is by installing some system locale?
If so which one and how to go about it?
