If I use the mSATA SDD, I should probably use no more than 21G. I'm
unsure if this is enough for a setup with 16GB of RAM.

Definitely not a good idea on the longer term to have the OS on
one, but now I wonder if USB keys could be used as disposable
swapcache ? Monitoring of wear-levelling might be needed though,
and it might be more trouble than it's worth.
