Yes, unless you override the ABI in pkg.conf
DragonFly 4.9 was a dev branch.
As soon as 5.0 was released, the packages of the obsolete 4.9 branch 
were removed.

As I said, if you don't want to upgrade to release (not recommended), 
you can always set the ABI in pkg.conf to 5.0.
