If you configure the ip manually, you'll have to set a default route to ping
hosts outside your network. Are you sure that 

  # ifconfig -v ue0 192.168.10.1 netmask 255.255.255.0

is what you intended?

If so, then you have to set a default route: 

  # route add -inet default $yourgatewayaddress

If you have a dhcp server (which I assume you do), then using

  # dhclient ue0

will hopefully give you all the correct settings, including entries for
resolv.conf.
