Hmm, I have a strong suspicious that you didn't do this step correctly
even though you said you did.

Try this:

# cd /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos
# cp df-latest.conf.sample df-latest.conf

You should not need to edit anything at all.  The file
"df-latest.conf.sample" is already usable without editing.

verify that it works with "pkg -vv"
