Do you mean Alert Standard Format ?
I could not find any related words in BIOS setup, sorry.

HP machines has iLO, Internal Light Out. Sub small CPU will
monitor and control whole machine. (But not for Interrupt).

Another thing I need to report is that
 dfly-i386-3.4.3_REL.img.bz2
has the same situation.
(To be honest, I'm quite new to DragonFlyBSD ;-)
