Adding a new disk

A friend gave me a 500 GB SATA disk. My current setup is like this:
ad0s1:
  a: 786432 0 4.2BSD # 768.000MB /boot
  b: 1048576 786432 swap # 1024.000MB
  d: 56111320 1835008 HAMMER # 54796.211MB / and other partitions
  e: 2097152 57946328 HAMMER # 2048.000MB /crypt
ad4: contains an unused Linux install which I can trash
I'm thinking of moving /crypt to ad4 and probably making another PFS in it
with no snapshots. Should I also put a copy of /boot on it? More swap space?
Should I turn ad0s1e into swap or expand ad0s1d? The box now has 1 GB of RAM.
