It has some carp related code on the input/output path.  But obviously
I didn't find it affects performance at all.  I have enabled CARP on
all of my boxes.

DragonFly's carp's IPv6 support is broken (ever since the initial
import).  IPv4 is well supported.

Well, I don't think it will hurt to put carp into GENERIC kernel.

It will have to be built into kernel.
