rebuilding pkg_install fails

I have informed the maintainers, though I couldn't explain the errors, which 
look like gobbledygook to me. I'm more inclined to upgrade, as I have KDE 4 
on a laptop, and I'd like to get Freenet running, which requires Java, which 
was recently discussed how to get working. If the maintainers fix the bugs, 
will the fixes get into the git branch so that I can get KDE, even if I have 
to compile it?
