I installed py26-wxWidgets to run a program I downloaded that needs it. As it
was installing, it displayed the following:

dogla# pkgin in py26-wxWidgets

nothing to upgrade.
3 packages to be installed: wxGTK28-2.8.10nb7 wxGTK28-contrib-2.8.10nb4

The current list of wxWidgets packages is as follows:

p5-Alien-wxWidgets-0.50nb2 Building, finding and using wxWidgets binaries
p5-Wx-0.97.01nb2 Perl5 interface to the wxWidgets cross-platform GUI
toolkit
p5-Wx-Perl-ProcessStream-0.27nb1 Access IO of external processes via events
from WxWidgets
py24-wxWidgets-2.8.10.1nb3 Python bindings for wxWidgets
py25-wxWidgets-2.8.10.1nb3 Python bindings for wxWidgets
py26-wxWidgets-2.8.10.1nb3 = Python bindings for wxWidgets
wxGTK-2.6.3nb7 = GTK-based implementation of the wxWidgets GUI library
wxGTK-contrib-2.6.3nb6 GTK-based implementation of the wxWidgets GUI library
(contrib libraries)
wxGTK24-2.4.2nb17 = GTK-based implementation of the wxWidgets GUI library
wxGTK28-2.8.10nb7 = GTK-based implementation of the wxWidgets GUI library
wxGTK28-contrib-2.8.10nb4 = GTK-based implementation of the wxWidgets GUI
library (contrib libraries)

The program currently tries to run, but does not bring up a window. I'm going
to delete both wxGTK and wxGTK28, reinstall py26-wxWidgets, and see if that
fixes it.
