    Via mirroring?  eep.  I suppose as long as the target filesystem
    is an exact image and nothing but an exact image, never modified
    by anything other then mirroring operation itself.

    The base system has a lot of dynamic files associated with it,
    I don't think you could disassociate the static files from the
    dynamic ones well enough to set up a mirror for just the static
    ones.  I think it might be considered a more extreme use of
    mirroring.
