Ncursesw & Unicode

maybe you can find out if ncurses usually just symlinks
libncursesw and libncurses.  maybe we also need to link two
distinct libs.
GNU Ncurses doesn't do it. But i tried to link cmus to DF ncurses lib
only, without libncursesw, and it WORK. It means all needed wide-char
functions are already in DF ncurses doesn't it? Cmus is linked with
-lncurses, without -lncursesw. And works. Maybe symlinking
/usr/lib/libncursesw.so to /usr/lib/libncurses.so would be enough?
Just to make -lncursesw work.
